Torrent Power launches customer service portal
Leading electricity supplier Torrent Power Limited (TPL) has launched customer portal connect.torrentpower.com to provide better service to its customers.
According to a company statement, the multilingual portal can be accessible on mobile platform and allows customers to connect with Torrent Power at their convenience from anywhere. Torrent, the statement added, has designed the portal to minimise customer effort in performing transactions, processing applications and registration complaints.
The new portal provides services like new connection applications, change of name, online payments, registration of complaints regarding no power, consumption calculation and analysis, e-bill, power alerts and information about customer centre, bill collection centre and mobile van locator. It also gives tips on reducing electricity consumption.
TPL has over 2.2 million customers in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Surat in Gujarat and has made substantial investments to upgrade and automate its distribution system to increase reliability of the city’s power network.
